To add injury to their ninth straight loss, the Wizards were without Trevor Booker at Tuesday's practice. The forward limped off the court following a layup attempt late in Monday's loss against Indiana, having suffered what is being called a right knee strain.
"He went to have an MRI when we started," Wizards coach Randy Wittman said following practice. "He had some soreness today but obviously he wasn't here at practice, missed today.
As for whether Booker would be available for the Wizards' next game in Atlanta on Wednesday, Wittman said, "I'm not anticipating either way."
Coming off the bench for the second straight game after starting the first seven, Booker finished with four points, eight rebounds and four steals in 23 minutes against the Pacers. On the season the springy 6-foot-8 forward is averging 6.8 points and 5.6 rebounds.
