Over the offseason Bryce Harper lost out on a fan vote to become the cover spokesman for MLB '13: The Show. He was among several candidates teamed up with Twitter hashtags, allowing fans to cast their votes on social media. Andrew McCutchen of the Pittsburgh Pirates took home the honor who received nearly 20,00 votes more than C.C. Sabathia who finished in second.

Now while Harper missed out in the contest, he does have a limited edition cover for the game's Playstation 3 version.

Check it out via @MLBTheShow:

Harper now technically joins Alex Ovechkin, Gilbert Arenas, and Robert Griffin III (with a Baylor jersey) as recent D.C. athletes to grace the cover of a video game. But considering he isn't on the main cover and it's a limited edition promotion, does it count? That's a tough call. Either way, Harper will probably get the real deal at some point in his career.
