Zuckerman breaks down 2014 Hall of Famers (VIDEO)

After a long offseason - and with less than a month to go before pitchers and catchers report to spring training - we're finally just a week out from NatsFest 2014. Next Saturday thousands of Nationals fans will convene at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center to meet with players and coaches and celebrate the beginning of a new season.

This week the Nationals released some more information about the Jan. 25 event, including activities for fans and expected guests. We outlined the players scheduled to attend several weeks ago, but it appears Zach Walters, Sammy Solis and Steven Souza, Jr. have been added to the list.

Here are the details as described in a press release from the Nats:

Open to fans of all ages, NatsFest will offer a variety of activities including:

o   Q & A sessions with players and Nationals staff on various topics

o   Exclusive interviews and game shows on the main stage

o   Opportunities to take photos with players and team mascots

o   A special Jr. Nats Kids area featuring Player Story Times and Kids Press Conferences

o   Games, caricatures and interactive events and surprises

o   Live demonstrations from Youth Baseball Academy and Nationals Summer Camps instructors

The event will also feature:

o   Live broadcast by 106.7 The Fan, the team’s official flagship radio station

o   A Big League Lounge for fans 21 and over

o   Opportunities to purchase the latest Nationals merchandise as well as game-used and autographed memorabilia

o   Batting cages and inflatable games

o   D.J. Stylus Chris spinning music throughout the day

Sometimes news actually comes out of these events. Last year we discovered Danny Espinosa had a torn rotator cuff. We'll see what the players have to say this year after a long offseason break.
