Just days before this weekend's NatsFest, the Washington Nationals are set to make a major announcement on Thursday at Nats Park. And though it's not baseball related, general manager Mike Rizzo will be on hand.

The news? A major concert coming to Nationals Park, presumably later this year during the summer or early fall. Deputy Mayor for planning and economic development Victor Haskins will reveal the news at a special event in the PNC Diamond Club at 10:30 a.m.

Who could it be? The Nationals have already hosted Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and Paul McCartney. An announcement this organized should be somebody pretty big, one would imagine.

Just weeks ago revealed Jason Aldean would be playing at Nationals Park sometime this year. In the fall it came out that One Direction was planning a tour stop on South Capitol St. Could this announcement be for one of those two, or somebody even bigger?

I threw out the question on Twitter and got some interesting suggestions. U2, Katy Perry, The Rolling Stones, even a reunion tour for Outkast. Who will it be? The suspense is riveting.
