Robert Griffin III earned an undergraduate degree from Baylor in political science, but on Tuesday night, his architecture knowledge will be on full display for a national TV audience.
The former Redskin and current Browns quarterback is scheduled to appear on an episode of Fixer Upper, a show on HGTV in which a couple based in Waco, Texas renovates homes for families in the area. In Tuesday's installment of the series — which will air at 9 p.m. — Griffin will join Chip and Joanna Gaines to help restore the house of a Vietnam veteran.
"When I found out RG3 and the Family of 3 Foundation was going to do this, it was a total shock to me that I could be that lucky," the veteran, a man named Bill Graham, says in a video on the website of Griffin's foundation.
"The Family of 3 is an initiative that truly comes from my heart, and with the help of our members I’m excited about the difference we can make in people’s lives," the site reads in its "Our Story" section. "As a collective Family, we will strive to create meaningful networks for people in our everyday lives by providing them with access to the tools and resources necessary to reach their fullest potential."
