Hingis and Venus lead Kastles over Texas Wild

Longtime rivals Martina Hingis and Venus Williams teamed up to lead the Washington Kastles over the Texas Wild 23-18 on Wednesday night in WTT action.

Playing in front of a franchise-record crowd of 3,275 in D.C., Hingis and Williams won their doubles match 5-2. Williams also won women's singles by a score of 5-4, while Hingis earned the victory in mixed doubles with Leander Paes 5-4.

The Kastles secured the win with a 5-2 victory in men's doubles as Paes and Bobby Reynolds defeated Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Tim Smyczek.
