- SAN DIEGO - Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers can take a two-game lead in the AFC West if they beat Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Game starts 8:30 p.m.

- FORT BRAGG, N.C. - Mike Krzyzewski returns to his Army roots when the former West Point cadet, player and coach brings his Duke basketball team to Fort Bragg for an open practice.

- WACO, Texas - Brittney Griner is getting ready for her senior season at Baylor, which is coming off the NCAA's first 40-win season. The 6-foot-8 All-American has healed after breaking her wrist.
