NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Oakland Raiders by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 26) - McFadden hurt . again.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 29) - Even with a healthy Darren McFadden, running game has not been good.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 24)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 28) - Can't run it on offense or stop the run on defense. Bad combination!

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 26) - Raiders' defense falls into the Black Hole, giving up 35 points to the Bucs in the second half. Carson Palmer's comeback bid falls one interception short, and it's more misery for the silver and black.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 27) - The Raiders rank 30th in the NFL in rushing and now their top two runners, Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson, are slowed by high ankle sprains.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 28) - The Black Hole isn't in the stands. It's in the middle of the Raiders' run defense.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 27) - Carson Palmer needed a rubdown after throwing 61 passes vs. Bucs.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 26) - Palmer threw for over 400 yards last week and he may have to do it every week if McFadden can't go or be 100 per cent. The Raider defense doesn't look like they can stop the run after rookie Doug Martin dropped 251 on them, and now they face Ray Rice.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 24) - The Raiders are one of the least penalized teams in the NFL, but not so fast. The Bucs made the Raiders revert to their old ways - undisciplined. They couldn't stop the run and too many turnovers. The Raiders hope it was simply a blip on the radar.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 23) - The run defense isn't fixed quite yet. Oakland allowed Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin to become the first player in NFL history with three touchdown carries of 40-plus yards in the same game during last Sunday's loss.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 28) - The Raiders are inconsistent and Darren McFadden is banged up. Ever hear that one before?
