NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Green Bay Packers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
GREEN BAY PACKERS (5)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 3) - Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy . they've done this before.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 9) - With Clay Matthews and others hurting, bye week comes at good time.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 6)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 4) - Injuries starting to pile up on both sides of the ball, bye comes at a good time.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 4) - Streaking Packers make it four straight wins with solid effort at Lambeau against slumping Cardinals. Only one downer as Pack heads into bye week: a hamstring injury that could keep All Pro linebacker Clay Matthews out for a couple weeks.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 6) - The Packers are one of four teams with their scheduled bye this week, joining Arizona, Cleveland and Washington.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 5) - For those keeping score, at the rate Aaron Rodgers is going he'll have close to 50 touchdowns by the end of the season.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 8) - When the walking wounded return, look out NFC.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 11) - It doesn't matter what Packer receivers are available, Aaron Rodgers will throw touchdown passes. The defense continues to incur injuries which now includes Clay Matthews. The defense faces Stafford, and Eli Manning in the next two weeks.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 5) - The Pack are banged up and get a bye week to heel up. They will need it with stars like Clay Matthews and Greg Jennings ailing.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 6) - Even without injured targets like Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson, Aaron Rodgers has a legitimate shot at 50 touchdown passes.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 6) - They are piling up injuries - and victories - at a rapid pace.
