NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Detroit Lions by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 13) - Alarm clock may have gone off for talented team.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 17) - Huge win in Philly. Matthew Stafford seems most dangerous when behind.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 22)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 12) - Win in Philly may have salvaged what was looking like a hopeless situation.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 16) - Just when you're ready to write off the Lions, Matthew Stafford puts on another sensational fourth-quarter comeback. He hung 17 points on the Eagles in the fourth and then led the Lions to the game-winning field goal in OT.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 21) - Calvin Johnson, Matthew Stafford's go-to guy in the Detroit offense, has caught 35 passes but scored only one touchdown.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 17) - I think it's fair to say the Lions saved their season with that come-from-behind win in Philadelphia.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 15) - A big comeback in Philly should give them confidence heading into Soldier Field.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 17) - The Lions got a much needed overtime win this week to at least slow down the bleeding. All indication are in place for this team to go on a run but their next two games are Chicago and Seattle.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 20) - Could this be the game that turns the Lions fortunes around?

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 22) - As again evidenced by last Sunday's overtime win at Philadelphia, no team has more late-game moxie than the Lions with Matt Stafford at quarterback.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 15) - Beating the Eagles on the road could be a victory that turns around the Lions.
