NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the New York Jets by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 23) - Finally showed up in Show Me State.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 24) - When Mark Sanchez avoids turnovers, offense can be effective.

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 21) - When they are able to run it they at least have a chance.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 20) - Just the way Rex likes to play: Run the ball, play good defense, have the quarterback manage the game. The Jets did just that to beat the Rams on the road. A win over New England at home on Thanksgiving, and hope lives on.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 24) - The Patriots at home on Thanksgiving constitutes last call at respectability in 2012 for the Jets.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 24) - At least give them this: They're working better than Bart Scott's media boycott.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 20) - A little momentum and confidence as the Brady Bunch comes to town.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 22) - Leave Tebow on the bench, stop talking about the playoffs and just keep grinding away at the season.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 23) - The Jets roller coaster ride continues. Against the Rams they were headed up!

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 20) - Following a week of media-generated turmoil, a 27-13 road win over St. Louis proved New York hasn't given up on the season just yet.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 19) - Beating the Rams handily on the road Sunday arguably was the most impressive thing the Jets have done all season.
