NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Philadelphia Eagles by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (14)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 12) - Usually magic after bye week ... Atlanta will be a tall order.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 17) - Andy Reid, Michael Vick, and new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles all on the spot.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 13)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 16) - Things starting to fall apart for the Eagles as Andy Reid fights to keep it all together.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 15) - Tumultuous bye week for Iggles, as Andy Reid replaces defensive coordinator Juan Castillo with Todd Bowles. Michael Vick gets to keep his job, but another loss to his old team on Sunday at the Linc could signal a change there, too.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 12) - The Eagles return from their bye with a new defensive coordinator (Todd Bowles) - not that it will matter this week. Philadelphia doesn't lose coming off byes, posting a league-best 19-4 record.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 12) - The good news: Todd Bowles, you're the team's defensive coordinator. The bad: Your first assignment is to stop Matt Ryan and the undefeated Falcons.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 16) - It's all about getting pressure on Matt Ryan, or things could get ugly.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 21) - Firing Juan Castillo wasn't a good thing to do after six games. It does point to the mounting pressure in Philadelphia. Seventeen turnovers in six games kills this team's chances of winning. If they keep giving the ball back another defensive coach will be in trouble even though it's the offense making the mistakes.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 12) - Did they fix their problems during the bye week? We shall see if new DC Todd Bowles can ignite a talented D and if Michael Vick can start to protect the football.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 13) - First, Juan Castillo is fired as defensive coordinator. A Michael Vick benching may be the next major change if he doesn't play well Sunday against Atlanta.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 19) - Let's see if Michael Vick can get himself back on track against his former team.
