NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Dallas Cowboys by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
DALLAS COWBOYS (19)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 16) - Plan looked great until crunch time.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 18) - Too many mistakes by Jason Garrett, and too many penalties.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 15)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 24) - Problems at every level of the organization.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 17) - Another botched comeback attempt, although you can't blame Tony Romo this time. The ball was right there for Dez Bryant on a 2-point conversion that would have tied it against Baltimore. Another drop for the troubled receiver, and another loss for a troubled team.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 22) - The Cowboys are one of just four NFL teams that have not scored 100 points yet, which puts them in the company of the Jaguars, Panthers and Raiders. That's not the company a playoff contender wants to keep.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 19) - Finally, the Cowboys untracked their offense. Now, maybe someone can teach Jason Garrett a lesson about clock management.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 16) - Embattled Jason Garrett will have to answer for the 13 penalties that helped do them in at Baltimore.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 22) - It must be hard to be a passionate Cowboy fan. What do you see when you watch your team? Do you see talent or do you see hype?
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 16) - They battled in Baltimore, but are finding ways to loose as opposed to finding ways to win.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 19) - Give the Cowboys credit for always finding a creative way to lose.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 22) - Getting in position to win is one thing. Actually winning is another.
