NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 22) - Tough finish to promising season.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 23) - This team needs to break habit of coming undone in December.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 22)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 24) - Really disappointed this team hasn't finished better in Schiano's first season.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 22) - Bucs answer 41-0 pounding in New Orleans with another show of ineptitude at home against the Rams. More turnovers from - and questions about - Josh Freeman.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 21) - Remember when the Bucs played slam-the-door-shut defense? When Tony Dungy left the building, so did the idea of great defense. The Bucs rank 29th in defense.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 21) - The way these guys are playing, they may send them all back to college.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 22) - Different head coach, same dispiriting finish.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 23) - Optimism ran high a month ago that this was a playoff team, but they faded down the stretch with five straight loses. Coach Schiano has more work to do than he expected.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 22)

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 21) - This pirate ship is sinking with five straight losses.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 22) - This is how you define streakiness - losing three in a row, winning five of six, and then losing five straight.
