NEW YORK (AP) Comments on the Buffalo Bills by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 28) - Tough loss, especially since that was only home game in six weeks.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 28) - Defense is a joke, and Bills' fans aren't laughing. Not playing up to talent level.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 24)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 23) - Defense is a mess and the QB continues to make costly mistakes.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 26) - That's an awfully expensive defense to give up five TDs at home to the Titans.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 21) - The Bills have their bye this week and need it - when they return in November, they play back-to-back road games against AFC favorites Houston and New England.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 26) - Every time I see the Bills spring another leak in their defense I keep thinking, "No, They Chan't."

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 26) - You can't spend all that cash to fix a defense and then give up 32 points per game.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 27) - The Bills can't stop the run and consequently can't win games.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 27) - Players calling out players for lack of effort is not a good thing and it's happening in Buffalo.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 30) - How can a defense filled largely with high draft picks, well-compensated talent and established coordinator (Dave Wannstedt) be so dreadful?

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 26) - They need to play mistake free offense because they are giving up an average of more than 32 points per game.
